Craftsmanship Builds Healthy Spaces - Juhuan Environmental Materials Empower Volvo 4S Store Upgrade

Project Background

Linyi Zhongsheng Womao Volvo 4S Store, as the flagship showroom in southern Shandong, initiated the "Nordic Healthy Space" renovation plan in 2025, requiring all decoration materials to meet Volvo's "Healthy Cabin" standards (prohibiting nickel, chromium, formaldehyde, and other harmful substances). Juhuan foam adhesive and silicone were selected as core auxiliary materials due to their EU ROHS certification and zero VOCs characteristics.

Material Application Highlights

The Invisible Guardian of Foam Adhesive

• Fire Safety Upgrade: B1 grade flame-retardant foam adhesive fills the steel structure seams of the showroom, passing the 240°C hot wire test, eliminating the risk of electrical fires.

• Energy Efficiency Optimization: Expanding and sealing all door and window gaps, it was measured to reduce air conditioning energy consumption by 18% (tested in Linyi's extreme summer temperature difference environment).

Silicone Details Aesthetics

The exhibition area uses 3mm thick foam silicone strips, seamlessly embedded in door and window tracks, achieving 55dB noise reduction (comparable to the quietness of the S90).

The anti-collision strips in the customer rest area are treated with frosted dyeing, perfectly matching the light oak interior color of Volvo's original factory.

Visualized Environmental Value

After construction, third-party testing showed:

• Formaldehyde content < 0.01mg/m³ (90% better than the GB/T 18883-2022 standard)

• No benzene series substances detected, and it received subsidies for the green decoration demonstration project in Linyi City.
